PDU were selected by Pama to design a new range of Mobile Phone Accessories for the UK and European markets. Pama are a leading supplier in the mobile telecomunication industry. The Platinum range was Pama's first New Product Development project as they had imported OEM products mainly from far east suppliers. In total there were 5 products in the range ranging from a Personal Handsfree Headset to a In Car Charger. The main driver in this project was to offer Pama a competetive lead in the market place by producing bespoke, innovative products. A comprehensive review of existing products revealed a common thread of poor material and design quality. By focussing on the user experience, product functionality, and ease of use we have created a range. Pama have a great understanding of their market and by blending their market knowledge with our user centric design process we have produced a range of products which recognise customer individuality and that reflect the diversity of their consumer demographic.
