ActiVote is a key component in the voting system, which forms an integral part of the electronic learning system, developed by our client primarily for schools. This market sector is experiencing rapid growth and Promethean is a Market leader. PDu were commissioned to re-design an 'off the shelf unit' to be used as a platform to demonstrate the technology.
Our client needed a solution for mass production that also challenged the functional and aesthetic shortcomings of its predecessor. Our design solution has a semantic user interface, increased tactile and visual feedback, and it's unique profile sits comfortably in the user's hand.
Finishes are mostly soft touch for greater comfort. All initial focus group evaluation, development, detail design, prototyping was undertaken by PDu. Initial projections for production requirements have already nearly tripled because of interest shown in various export markets.
