“I formed PDu in 2002 through my absolute passion for design and working with people to create successful solutions. The company is focussed on producing challenging and progressive design which ultimately improves the market position of our clients.
I am often asked about what we do as a company and I feel it isn’t just about product design, it’s about delivering well formed outcomes to clients. We play a very central role in the product development process, acting as a guardian of the client’s interests by ensuring the design intent and quality of the concept is delivered in the end product.
We have witnessed significant increases in the commercial success of our customers through our work and our core belief of evidence based design. Our real strength is integrating the commercial needs of the client, the functional and emotional needs of the user and the realities of manufacturing.
Our design process is highly structured but responsive to changes in technology. As a company we are always looking to improve and hold regular meetings with all our suppliers and partners to identify new opportunities to progress our service.
We recognise that no two organisations are the same and we can tailor our output to suit the type and size of organisations we work with, from inventors through to multinational companies.
For me there is no greater pleasure than seeing people use a product that you have designed, knowing you can trace every detail, every transaction of its creation back to your original thought. It’s a fascinating process and we take great pride in our achievements to date.”
